WINTER CARNIVAL AT THE POINT

When: Sunday, Febuary 18 (Evening) & Monday Febuary 19 (12-4pm)

Where: The Point Artist Run Centre

The Winter Carnival at The Point is a community celebration featuring live music, dinner, dancing, and a variety of free afternoon activities that celebrate winter through the arts. The Sunday evening dinner show on February 18 will showcase East Vancouver's C.R. Avery & the Storm Collective, a five-piece band with horns that blends hip hop, folk, and rock with harmonica blues and beat-boxing madness, followed by the annual Winter Art Auction. 

Monday afternoon will be filled with all-ages activities, including snow sculpting and ice dancing competitions, a DJ Ira Dance Party (1 PM), curling and shinny (weather permitting), costumed characters, live campfire music by Greg Kelly and Thomas Studer, a tickle trunk with winter costumes (or bring your own), and delectable lunch options along with hot and cold drinks from the Cypress Point Café and Harrop’s Bar.
